What!?!?! Has there been a run on R50 cat back exhausts lately?

Long story short: my r50 has been sitting in the body shop for over a month, work is now completed, except that we were upgrading the exhaust to a Megan racing catback system. Told it was coming...told it was coming...told... Now we're being told that not only is Megan back-ordered until late October, but so is Borla, and so is Magnaflow.

Where have they all gone? I wonder. Does anybody know of one of these sitting IN STOCK somewhere? It's the only thing we're waiting on to get our beloved "Jeeves" back on the road.
I'll even consider a good used one.
Help!!!!

 

I've been trying to get a Megan since June, same story. I'm suppose to call them late September, we'll see then ?

 

The owner of our Body Shop called around today (Detroit Tuned, Way Motor Works, etc.) and was told the same thing over and over - so there is obviously some vast conspiracy at work.
The last thing we were told this afternoon is that Megan Racing is supposed to "release" them in October sometime. Doesn't that sound ominous? Perhaps they are waiting for a ransom to be delivered?
