Supercharger replacement - DIY info?

The SC is starting to rattle a bit (92,350 miles).

So it's time to change it out.

I'm going to Outmotoring for the tension tool.

I think i'm going to go with Stiegmeier for a replacement/rebuild but does anybody have any info on DIY procedures for the actual process of replacing the blower?

If it is starting to rattle only a little you might be able to pull the thing off and just do an "oil change" on it. The problems is totally preventable in the first place if you keep the oil in the water pump drive topped off. If you pull the SC and the gears still look OK all you might need to do is top off the oil.

I suggest picking up the Bently Manual, that has everything you need. Pulling the supercharger isnt terribly difficult.
