Newbe? MSC oil presssure

Hi all
We just bought a 05 MCS! Oil pressure guage reads about halfway between 0 and the first dash. This is with the engine at operating temp and at idle. Seems low or is this normal?

Well, normal idle seems to be below 7 psi. I have a digital gauge and that is as low as the gauge reads, when it is below that, it flashes "07." Other than that, you want 10 psi per 1,000 rpm, which my gauge says I have.

I'll have to check the bentley manual for the correct specs.

Cool, sounds like it may be a normal reading.
Kinda hard to tell what the actual number reading would be on the stock gauge. (has chrono-pack)
I "assume" the middle dash would be about 35 psi, with the one below it around 17 psi? So I'm guessing its about 8-10ish psi at hot idle.

Mine reads slightly below the lowest dash mark at idle, when warm. It's normal. Also, there wouldn't be any reading if you didn't have the Chrono, as the "base" arrangement only gives you an idiot light.
