hood replacement/repair

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, there's been a lot of changes here at NAM since I was frequenting the site.

Anyway, I have an '06 JCW in Chili Red. There is some damage to the hood, it needs repaired possibly replaced. Nothing major, but it was hit in a parking lot. The hood was pushed back and crinkled a bit on the passenger side and a big dent. I'd like to replace it.

Anyone know of a good source for replacements either used or otherwise? It looks like the CF option would save some weight and cost about $700 without paint and my own labor to install.

Suggestions?

TIA

Yeah, the CF hood might be a good option because then you don't have to paint it and no accident would show up on it's record. I found that aftermarket paint is not as good as the factory paint job anyways. Have you seen the hoods on eBay? The Seibon ones?

and you could even get the hatch so it matches really nicely: Hatch.
