Hi everyone, Im looking at buying an 03 MINI S, but I wanted to know if there is anyhthing I should look out for. This car was owned by an older couple for a short while and it only has 27k on it. It's loaded with everything but the JCW Package, which im not sure was an option for that year. The only thing it doesnt have is navigation or power/heated seats, which im also unsure if they were options for that year. These people said they would sell it to me for 14k and from the research I have conducted so far, it looks like its a great price for this car w/ the options. Is there anything I should look out for with an 03 MINI? What could I expect as far as maintaining the vehicle? Any Problems? Thanks in advance.

 

That is a good price, the strut towers can get deformed on these, the lower control arm bushings go bad, glazed flywheel, all i can think of right now at 1 in the morning, but if it has so few miles those arnt going to be to big of a concern at all. SOunds exactly like my mini, same price to just 30000 miles less

Not enough to be a real concern. I wouldnt say much worse than an 04 as all the years have their fair share of problems.
