My sister's PW/PW 2004 Cooper just turned 5 in May... but she only has 21,000 miles on it. Needless to say, other than the oil changes, coolant and brake fluid change, (and a new steering rack under warranty) it never had any of the "free" maintenance...

what would you have done at this point? go ahead w/ and Inspection I? There is oil on the valve cover gasket... not gobs, just a thin film. and her A/C is pumping out warm air.

and thoughts would be appreciated.

The tires are probably starting to dry out and crack.

 

she had the front's replaced about 2 years ago as one of the originals had a non-repairable defect.

 

So im failing to understand. are you still covered or not?
If not then start spending money thats just how it is.
If you are go get it fixed mannnn!

 

sorry to not be clear.. No no warranty. I was asking what she might expect to be looking at, specially with such low miles. just wanted some thoughts... no need to be so abrupt.
