The everything was OK today thread.

This thread exists because some people complain about the reliability of MINIs (R50, 53, and 52 only), but in fact people usually only come here to complain about issues and problems or seek answers to them. So here is a thread that posts the opposite.

Today my car ran beautifully and had no problems. It felt strong, the power steering still works, the clutch still grips, and both windows work.

This thread is a great idea! Ditto for me today, and everyday since I "adopted" Capt'n Jack back on 01/02/09, hmm ~ 189 days & counting.

Good here - 204,000+ miles and running strong! Few minor little things - but good enough for me!

Even though I have been having some problems with my MINI, I sill love driving it. Its at about 50% power and runs like crap, but still fun to drive!

Got 15,000ish miles on my 08 Clubman! Rolling down the road just fine! So is my 06 GP at about the same mileage!

Almost 70K miles and everything is running good. The only thing wrong is that the aero kit isn't installed!

53k, 3k of ownership...
only "problems" are:

DS interior door handle is finicky.
3000rpm hiccup (slight)
slow leak in FL tire.

can't complain.

I drove my 02 R50 today (72k), and the serpentine belt didn't break, unlike last Thursday.

I put on nearly 400 miles today to the meet in Winona, MN, driving mostly from about 65-80mph. Had the ECU upgraded while there, found slight mushrooming but took the appropriate steps. Averaged almost 37mpg. I love this car. Where else can you get this performance and still get mileage like that? It's an 03 s with 38k miles.

Emily ('02 MCS, Chili Red w/ a Black hat) turned 41,000 miles a couple of weeks ago, and not a problem in sight. She still has her original battery and tires (Gawd, I hate these run-flats).
And Nabeshin; No, it's not too much!
She's hot....

Fizzgig only has 12,900 miles on him. Replaced power steering pump at 4,000 miles (ran through a really deep puddle). No other problems. Love the Mini.

Ran great this morning. Even got a wide open highway this morning on the way to work (somehow ) and got to open up a "little"(definition of little may vary). I love my MINI!

04 R53 with 54k. No current problems after MiniUSA replaced the oil sump under warranty. Had it aligned recently. As much as I love reading forums on any of my vehicles, I hate wading through complaints / ***** sessions...

Clutch '04 R53, 47k miles and running strong. I think the first owner drove him pretty lightly. I LOVE THIS CAR!

Had a sweet ride to work today. 30K miles on it and ran over the train tracks with no rattles ...still tight as a drum. Also had a little fun with a WRX piloted by some moron with a surplus of testosterone. Had fun losing him on the twisties.

There aren't many things that I enjoy as much as driving my MINI.

Drove 30 miles to the Suburbs to hang out with my boyfriend. The MINI's yearly inspection was also taken care of today. Everything's still going great. Will drive back home tomorrow morning and enjoy every flawless second of it. 33412 miles!

93,000+ miles since June 1st, 2005. A few repairs here and there and NO complaints - except maybe the clock still runs about six minutes fast each month, lol! Hey, I just drive faster to keep up with the times, lol.

This morning I was driving to an event and my interior light kept coming on, then off at random intervals. There was no "hood/hatch open" or other warning light on the speedo, and everything seemed to be working correctly. It was the weirdest electrical problem I've ever seen. i feared the worst sincce my car recently came out of warranty.

When I got to my destination, I discovered that my driver side door wasn't closed all the way.

*whew!*
