Fair price for 04 MCS???
I am looking to sell my 2004 Mini Cooper S, and I am wondering what a fair price would be. It has about 71000 miles, Dark silver with white roof, 6spd. It is in great condition with minor wear. It was a couple of minor door dings. It has premium and sport packages. Mini ipod connection in the glove box. Flawless interior. Blacked out beltline and completely stock engine. The kelly blue book for good condition is: $15,115. The only issue is the front bumper has a crack in it from being backed into in a driveway. I live in Birmingham, AL if that makes a difference. Please let me know what a fair price would be.

A crack on the bumper would mean you'd have to get a new bumper, repainted it and that all cost labor. If you get it used and have it painted it can easily run more than $500. Also at 71K miles, it's pretty high for $15K.
You can use ebay and/or other web sites to check what prices similarly equipped cars are selling for to get you in the ball park then adjust from there depending on how motivated you are to sell it, etc. You can also take it to a few used car dealers and ask them how much they would give you to buy it. Then you would have an idea of a trade in value for the car. That would give you a low end of the scale to compare to. And most used car dealers might tell you what they see with the car that they are concerned about so you could see if there was something you needed to do to make the car more attractive to a buyer.
