I need to replace one of the HIDs in out MC. The closest BMW dealer is 3hrs away and they wanted $195 per bulb..... HA!

Thats where ebay comes into play. But the thing is that I know I will replace both at the same time and know the bulb type is H7. I know I will get 6k bulbs but when looking on ebay I see this stuff here.........

Uhhhh........huh?

So can someone please educate me on what type of headlights those are? I know we have stock HID housings if that helps. This isnt a conversion.

 

The H7 is for the high beam in the xenon lamps, and the for the high and low beam in the standard lamps.

You said the dealer quoted you $195, so you should have a D2-S xenon bulb, and you have a build date of 07/2004 and later.
