Drivers side window scratches?
I have an issue with parking on the street, sand gets up on the glass and falls inbetween the glass and the rubber seal on the track. Then every time you open and close the window it scratches the glass badly. 
Not sure how to stop it, but does anyone know how much it cost to replace with the OEM glass? I would like to keep the emblems on the glass, and keep it looking stock.

Window Glass available at www.pelicanparts.com for about $75. You can find the exact part number at http://www.realoem.com/bmw/
It is not a difficult dyi.
Safelite will replace with OEM glass if you ask them to. Will only cost $5 or so more than their house brand. Their house brand typically is not a perfect match on color.
