Hello, I'm new to the site. I have a used 2003 Coop and I experiencing noise from the clutch/transmittion area. The other day I briefly had trouble shifting. Now it shifts ok but I have a noise ranging from a low chattering sound when the car is in neutral to whop whop whop noise at low speeds in evey gear except 5th. The noise goes away when the clutch is depressed. The original owner had the transmittion replaced at 5000 miles under warranty. The car has 73000 miles on it of which I have put 10000 on. The original owner is my brother who has since bought a 2008 Mini.

Any help/thought on what maybe the problem would be appreciated.
