See a doc. Get everything recorded. My sister got 'tapped' and has had 4 back surgerys related to it. Fairly rare, but rare is this side of never.

Also, I'm betting it's repairable.

I love your Demon! I wanted one BAD when they first came out but Dad wanted a 4 door and got a used '67 Dart. I eventually got the '67.
I also got a '70 Dart Swinger (in '78) that I put the '67 225 engine (with a 4 barrel Holley and Offenhauser headers) into. That car went drag racing in the '80s. A 318 in the '67 made it into a tow car for the '70.
That Slant 6 sounded like a Ferrari 12 cylinder with the dual exhaust. Best part it was faster than the 5.0 Mustangs of that time.
