Cylinder head help

Ciao,

I need some help and this is best place to ask .

I got a mini cooper S 2002. Unfortunally the cylinder head got broken and they are asking me 1200 € for a stock head.

I've tuned a bit my cooper with 19% cranck pulley, milltek exhaust air filter, ecu ....so I was looking for a better head than the stock one.

I found this solution that looks to me interesting

http://www.m7tuning.com/parts/produc...roducts_id=142

I have only everyday street driving and my target is to spend more ore less the same money they are asking me for stock head....

I'd like to ask you if this is a good and complete solution (I do not understand if I have to buy also other parts...) or any of your suggestions on cylinder head.

thank you in advance

ciao

Hi, I bought one as did 3 other guy's around here. None of us have it installed yet. Just remember that this head is a "Brand new" casting. Most other aftermarket heads out right now are refurbished heads. This is a complete head, all new parts. They do recommend using a different cam though.

Yes those are complete heads, if that is what you mean? Never have seen CHR before, looks interesting also. Just remember the Cosworth head is brand new.
