Boot Emblem

The circular black & silver insert in the boot emblem of my R53 has disappeared. Doesn't look like it was stolen, just fell out. Is this part separately available, or must I buy the entire winged emblem?

You'll have to buy a whole emblem for the OEM look. There might be a vendor that makes custom ones though.

Yeah, I would imagine you'd have to buy the whole emblem. Check out the custom emblems at Lyles.

FWIW, I was considering buying an OEM Bentley wing badge...

Ridiculous, I know. But I think it'd be funny!

OEM parts at Pelican Parts for cheaper than dealer. Here's the exact page you want: http://www.pelicanparts.com/euro/cat...BDYext_pg1.htm

eBay is even cheaper for badges. My guess though is that you could also find one of our NAM vinyl guys who would make one that looks just like OEM...anyone who makes hub cover inserts should be able to make these. I'd email and ask. But eBay is wayyyy cheaper than going through the dealer or other parts places. I had to replace my Cooper badge last year and it cost me like $7, including shipping...and it was OEM, still sealed in the packaging.

2 weeks ago I was looking for the rear emblem, and was ready to shell out 30+ dollars for a new one online. At the last minute I decided to check Ebay - found a new OEM rear emblem for $8.20 plus $4.00 shipping. He still had 3 left when I ordered...
Good luck!
