TPMS on 2006?

I am wanting to use some 09 MINI wheels on my 06. My question is whether the TPMS stems are replaceable with conventional stems or whether I'll just have to leave those ugly-*** stems on? Thanks...

The TPMS stems themselves don't look so terrible -- it's the wide ugly valve caps. You can just replace the valve caps. Make sure you use plastic caps (metal caps may bond to the metal stems). Even MINI sells "normal" size caps with various logo designs. But yes, you can replace with conventional stems if you wanted to.
