Ever installed Aerokit Grill "COVERS"?

K, I'm looking at snagging the Autotechnica lower grill cover so that I don't have to dremil the junk out of my MINI. http://ptboutique.com/items/autotecn...ver-detail.htm

Anyone ever done this/bought this before? Any pics???

With all the other grills you can buy, the lower grill has to be fitted a bit. I have the same problem. I really want these on my 04 but i didnt want to drill my bumper. Maybe call them and see if they are specially made to just tape on and fit perfectly. If so, ill buy some too!

I don't like grill 'covers' because they restrict airflow... Mine had some on when I bought it but I took them off. The ones I had weren't that great either because at certain angles you could see the factory grill behind and it looked tacky.

While it is a bit of work, the holes that one makes in the bumper to fit the aero lower grille are all concealed behind the grille, so if you wanted to replace the original body-colored window-blind grille, there would be no visible evidence of the mod.

The grille covers do look pretty bad when you see the original in back of them, IMHO.
