Which interiors items can i change myself saving money?

Hi everyone, just bought a MCS and i would like to buy extra accesories for my car, my question is, which interiors items could i change myself buying them on internet and not going to the garage.
Im will not change the steering wheel, or something so difficult, i will change and put the chrome dials and **** instruments, also the checkered interior mirror...and what about the exterior, which items are easy to change myself?
thanks everybody

While not knowing your mechanical ability...the things you mentioned about the interior are not that difficult to do.
Looking around on here you will find that more than likely someone has done it before and has posted about it.

Motoringfile has a pretty good list of DIYs...

In the future, if you have questions, it helps if you to mention the year of your car and if it is a Cooper/Cooper S.

Welcome to NAM.

I started off asking a question like that about 7 years ago on my Honda. Since then I have been willing to at least try to accomplish a great deal down to building a pretty sweet street racer mostly by myself. So be warned, it gets addictive and starts to get easy

That said, the interior stuff is not too difficult, but its sometimes hard to find all the screws and stuff like that. I believe the mirror thing just clips on, but i could be wrong. I've done the OEM cupholder, removed the down tubes, all kinds of stuff. The step-by-step instructions are on here for almost anything, and if they aren't you can generally get help by posting.

The NUMBER ONE thing is tools. Get a good set of TORX bits, screwdrivers, and metric sockets. You should do well, and you can PM me if you have specific questions. I've tackled a lot.
