Anyone know if the color "gunmetal" as advertised by many aftermarket auto tire/rim sellers - is a close match to OEM Dark Silver or not ? Or, is there another wheel color out there which has been found to be a better match.

Check out my gallery. My previous MINI was an '04 ds/ds MCS with Royal Gray Rota GT3's. The match was pretty close and I thought it looked great.

 

Awesome looking rims on your DS. Never seen that particular Rota style before, and a great color match. I'd paint a set of rims OEM DS, but who needs the extra headache of having to use touch up paint on rims....

Checked out your gallery, Stealthy Alta V2.0 CAI, and C3's shifter boot mod....which looks every bit as good as the shifter plate covers which run $90.00... Nice work. I was looking at that very idea last month on c3's site I think. If I remember correctly, it was an OEM part for a Hyundai ?

 

I bought the GT3's off eBay. They require hubcentric rings to fit.

I also got the shift boot off eBay. I think it was a knock off replacement part for the Hyundai Tiburon. It required a little trimming to get it to fit, but it worked out ok.

My '07 is great, but I still miss that car sometimes.
