Fault code P1689???

So it was very cold 20 degrees this morning, so I went out to start the car and let it warm up the the garage. I started the car and it stalled, so then it started up on the third try and seemed fine. But when I came out to go to work the CEL was on! I get to work and run the OBDII and it throws two codes the first code is P0128 which it does every winter so I am use to it. Its a thermostat code that I have been getting since I put in the cooler thermo always happens once or twice the first of the real cold weather. But then there was another code P1689 throttle control electronic monitor???? I reset the codes and the was fine, it never ran funny on the way to work or during work!!! Anyone might know why I might have thrown this code??

I didn't catch what year you have but 2002-2004 Bentley calls it an "electronic throttle control monitor level torque calculation error" (?).
Did the code ever come back? Did you "pump" the gas while trying to start it? I had a CEL throttle position sensor after I undid my DME and didn't get it back together correctly. Re-hooked it up, cleared the code and has never come back. Hopfully you will have the same luck. Anyone else got anything?
