I ordered the MINI Cooper in August, and was wondering how long it would take before production and delivery. I was told by a sales associate about late November to early December. However I wanted to ask anyone out there that has ordered a MINI from Irvine, what their wait time was, and how long did delivery actually take place. Any information about this would be extremely helpful.
Oh and I am a newbie to this site, and so far the entire layout has been pretty ace. I love the pictures of all the coopers in the gallery, and it was a tremendous help in deciding what kinda MINI to purchase, along with what options I should go for.

Ordered in Mid-June.

MCS born July 5th.
Arrived in Port July 8th.
Scheduled to Depart July 13th.
Missed Boat.
Rescheduled to Depart July 19th.
Shipped July 19th.
Arrived in Port Huenme August 15th
Arrived in VPC August 18th
Shipped by truck August 20th
Arrived at Irvine August 21st
Clear Coat and LoJack installation scheduled August 23rd
Recieved August 23rd PM.

Notes for Irvine: Deal with David, if possible. Only Advisor on site worth dealing with. Every other Advisor, Manager, Sales Manager, and General Manager (!) apparently lacks the ability to return phone calls or offer individual attention. David saved my sale. If you have to deal with someone else, call them daily once the vehicle has left VPC. They appear to be in no rush to get you the MINI.

Good luck and enjoy!

See you round the back roads of OC...

Oh cool, thank you for the feedback. As a matter of fact I am dealing with David, and he has been really great. I haven't dealt with any of the other employees, but I'll take your advice either way David appears to be genuinely interested in selling the car so I'm gonna stick with him. I would have ordered an MCS too, but the wait seems too long, so I'm going with the MINI Cooper. Anyways thanks for the info, and I'll see you sometime around OC, first I'm probably gonna hit the 110 to Pasadena, pretty twisty and you can go fast without too much hassle!
