Im a fairly new owner of a 03' mc without a sunroof and was wondering what the little vent/microphone looking thing was in the front just behind the clock, and also the vent in back almost directly above the rear seats. Thanks for your time

The rear vent thing is part of the security system. I think it is the glass breakage sensor and the (interior motion sensor?).

My car has the sunroof, so I'm not sure why you have the thing near the clock.

 

It's exactly that. If you have the bluetooth option installed, that's where the microphone goes.

The rear one is part of the security system is you have that option.

 

Ahh thank you...to bad I dont have either...

 

I don't have them either, but the vent/grills are still there.
