Help me out guys... Give me an idea about how much longer I have to wait. Status on miniusa changed from "en route" to "at distribution center" today. ASKMINI told me the ship would dock at Charleston, and my dealer is in Charleston. So, how long does the car spend at the distribution center? Days? Weeks? Thanks for any input. At least me and the car are on the same continent.

How long did the whole kit-n-kaboodle take from your Production Date to when you picked your car up? I'm getting really antsy and she won't even be built for another 2 weeks from tomorrow!

Our MINI spent only 1 or 2 days at the distribution center in South Carolina. Car was shipped to the dealership only 4 days after it was discharged from the Tanabata vessel. Very smooth!

It seems that the South Carolina distribution center is the fastest and most effective VPC in the entire MINI distribution network.

My original production date was 8/24, but it was built on 8/22. Then we were "awaiting transport" until 9/3, when the status changed to "en route." Now, on 9/12 it changed to "at vehicle distribution center." ASKMINI told me that it actually arrived in port on 9/6. So, the dates from miniuse, ASKMINI, and the site that tracks the ships didn't exactly jive, but I'm pretty happy with the progress so far. 21 days from build date to American soil. If Cooper4us is right about the efficiency of the Charleston VDC, I could be motoring next week!
