I have a question. When I start the car in first gear, I always get a single "DING" then I don't here it again until I stop completely and start the car again. I searched for this, but couldn't find anything. I also get a Correct Dest. Guidance Not Possible on my NAV system. I did NOT do a search for that, just thought I would throw it in there.

It'd be an easy answer in the winter. I'd have assumed it to be the "it's cold, so watch it" warning ding. Unless it's been real cold where you are lately, I'm lost.

Must be the 'Ding - you have cabbagetoes' warning chime

I'd also say the ice warning (less than 37 degrees), and if it isn't cold maybe your temp sensor is off. What does the outside temp display in the tach read?

For the 'ding', look to see if you have a 'Limit' set (checked off) in your 'Onboard Computer' screen. If it is, and it's set to the lowest number (4) or thereabouts, it is simply an audible warning that you have exceeded your set speed limit. Uncheck the box or set it to a higher limit.

As for the Correct Dest. Guidance Not Possible, I am not sure about this. It usually indicates that for some reason the system cannot get input from the vehicle speed sensors or some other error relating to vehicle positioning. The 'ding' could be an indication of this as well.

Methinks I have to finally make up a NAV FAQ since simple info on the system is hard to come by.

It was the limit!! Thanks GREATBEAR! It was set to 4. I removed the checkbox, and voila, ding no more!
