I was looking for the manual release for the rear door under the rear seat but can't find it. The manual states it can be used in an emergency to unlock the door if there is an power problem. It looks like a cable with a ring and the end according to the manual. Could they have missed installing it in my Mini? Anyone know where to find the release under the rear
seat?

According to the MINI2 board, MINI decided not to install it, so no one has the cable installed.

Is that the same case with the "one-touch-power-up" for the driver's side window? It says this feature (like the one-touch-down) exists in the manual...hmmm....

The one touch up is not allowed in the states w/o proper sensors, which the MINI does not seem to have... I'm just wondering why the manually applied 'follow me home lights' don't work.. (Turn off the car w/the lights still on, and then turn of the lights, and they are to stay on... but the don't)...

Oh well, i'll give it a while before I call my dealer.. they didn't seem like they knew too much about the programmable features... The only options they gave me was if wanted daytime running lights activated (nope), what floor mats (rubber....), and if i wanted a dealer sticker on the back (NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Hey RBX,

I think that the follow me home is a programable option.

Pebble.

It is if you want it automatic, but according to the maunal.. (somewhere... it's too far away for me to grab it) you can do it on a case-by case manner...
