03-04 MCS Drive quality

Considering to add a mini to my commuting car fleet. Curious on the handling of the car.

Is there alot of shimmy with the steering wheel due to the tire size / wheel base?

Does the car get 'pushed' pretty hard by the windbreak of large freight trucks on your freeway commute?

How does it handle bumps in the road like at bridge gaps - does it want to take off and leap into another lane or does it stay pretty tight to it's current direction?

Is the cabin sound fairly low or does it sound harsh like a cheap economy import from Asia?

It likes to follow road imperfections pretty bad actually, stays planted over bumps better than any car I have ever owned though, does not get pushed around by wind from trucks. I would say the cabin is pretty quiet except for the engine noise or windows open. I would say I like it on the highway as long as the tires arent following every imperfection pulling the steering wheel.

A lot of what you're describing can depend on your brand/type of tires.

the wandering is really from the tires.
Mine wont do it... and they are pretty close to bald.
They drive great. Their is a bit of windnoise due to the shape.
but with the radio on its not noticeable.
They dont really fidget too much unless you brake hard in a turn.
