My dealer did not include the screws to mount the front License Plate Holder to the bumper. Can anyone tell me how long the screws need to be (the ones that pierce the front bumper plastic, not the ones that hold the plate to the bracket)?

I'm getting tired of waiting for the dealer to send them to me and I don't want to use ones that are too long or too short.

I used the ones from last car....before MINI's were found in a small bag stuffed in back of glove compartment.

 

You can have mine!!! When I got my MINI I specifically told them that I did not want a front license plate (not required in NC). Of course when I picked up the MC their damn plate was on the car. I took it off and now have two little holes...

Very pissed!

The screws are about half inch long and have a very course thread.
