This is a really dumb question, but it's starting to bug me. My wife surprised me a couple of weeks ago by giving me a pair of MINI sunglasses as an anniversary gift. (These are the ones with the oval lenses.) My question is this - the glasses come in a black and silver case that has a small flap on the back that is held closed with Velcro. What is this flap for? I'm assuming it's there so you can attach the case to some part of the car, but where?

Not a stupid question - cause I haven't ever figured out what the extra flap is for either

I have the same exact Austrian made sunglasses. The case's back velcro flap allows to put the case on your pants belt or around the waist when not motoring.

Very nice glasses, excellent quality and very good UV ray protection.

Is the flap long enough to fit a belt thru? Maybe it is sort of a belt loop, or a universal "loop and fasten around anything that it fits around thingy" loop.

Not sure about the flap, but my understanding was that the case fits (perfectly?) in the niche in the glove box door. My case kinda fits there...at least good enough...and it works great (door closes and latches) even with the glovebox organizer.
