R50/53 Driving Shoes
Also, Puma Speedcats are becoming more and more popular... they are "trending" out and you can request a store to order them, try them on and then decide to buy them or not.
And the name alone is worthy of an $89 purchase! SPEEDCATS!

I have the Puma Mostro Mesh in bright orange...really great shoe, comfortable and obnoxious. I also have a pair of beat up Cole Haan driving shoes - also nice, but wearing out. Prada makes some nice loafers with a decent rubber heel - not necessarily driver's, but maybe the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, period. I'd like to try a pair of Puma Speedcats, or Tod's for dressier occasions. From my standpoint, and I'm really hard on shoes - it makes sense to spend some money on something high quality and durable.

One of my friend in Italy said "Prada's shoes are the best product in their product line, because shoe making is the original business in which Prada's reputation was established. Their shoes are the best in the world!"
I would agree, but unfortunately I've never put Prada's shoes yet...
Well, I will try Puma first.

Puma has outlet stores in some malls that have a pretty good choice of Speed Cats. Except I use a size 12 - they size somewhat small compared to their regular running type shoes, I usually wear 11's or 11-1/2 - and none of the Puma stores I've been to have 'em that big.
Puma used to make a VERY lightweight bicycle shoe that I loved, because unlike regular, super-stiff-soled bike shoes, they were quite flexible and comfy for driving and walking. Since flexibilty is bad for cycling, they quit making 'em and it took years for me to find replacements. Puma seems to periodically stop selling Speed Cats, so don't snooze, you might lose.
By all means, DON'T spend a lotta money on driving shoes until you've worn a pair for a while, altho the Speed Cats are fairly reasonable for a starter. I love 'em.
