I agree...Minis have always been, and apparently still are, in a class of their own. It must be really tough on these auto writer folks to deal with cars like this. (I guess it happens in music, too. Some musicians don't fit into a category...some cross several categories...all to the consternation of the critics.) MINI combines great elements from several different traditional automotive categories. In the end, one could simply say,"It's a MINI"...and that would make sense considering the quirky pedigree of the classic.
