Is the exterior chrome on a Clubman worth it? This is what I have ordered (prod week 32) , now I'm second guessing everything.. (PW, Bk) Hot choc interior, all packages, white turn signals, rear fog, interior chrome

 

I would recommend getting the rear fog. I placed the order and did not have it listed originally. After some reading, I asked dealer to add it. They agreed to do so, but forgot to add it. I now have the vehicle and adding after the fact is all but impossible and a very expensive addition (> $600). I am still waiting to see if it can be added at all as a retrofit.

On a note of aesthetics, without the rear fog, your switch plate in the vehicle will have a conspicuous open space. It might not bother you, but some folks enjoy have a full switch plate, so it could be resale issue.

Furthermore, the vehicle cannot be registered in Europe. Probably not a problem for you, but this could also be a resale problem.

Lastly, if you ever find yourself in fog, it just might save your life by drawing attention to your very short vehicle and prevent you being rolled by a semi-trailer from the rear end.

The bottom line is that it is only $100 and not a good place to cut corners in you order.
