It's nice to know there are other people out there that are obsessed with modding their MINI, I thought I was beginning to think I was crazy... all my friends think I am, but they don't have a MINI.

Have any of the girls out there gotten the weird looks when you're in the store trying to purchase performance parts for your car? Last night I was picking up my intake and the guy helping me was terrible. First he asked if I was picking the part up for my boyfriend, and I told him no it was for my car, and then he went on to ask if I needed someone to install it, and I told him no I would be installing it myself, and he looked at me like I was completely nuts. After all of this when I went to sign for the pick up he went as far to say that I had the wrong part, because he thought I was just looking for an air filter. I told him i may be blonde but I sure wouldn't spend 250.00 on an air filter....how come guys always assume a girl can't mod her car?

Just babbling, but it gets irratating sometimes, anyone else have this issue? I think I am gonna order my stuff offline from now on so I don't have to deal with this

 

as a guy that works in a parts store I know what you mean. We tell most women that say i dont know I'm a girl doesn't count, alot of guys have no clue.

also I just spent 1400 on new parts for my mini last night, the wife wasn't so happy.
