Sports car or not - between the handling and sound of my car, I can hardly believe it cost as little as it did. Granted, I've done mods to the suspension, exhaust and intake - but it really is alot of bang for the buck. I'm curious as to how much "better" my driving experience would be in what I always considered my ultimate sports car - a Porsche 911.

>>MINIs are not sport cars, not even the S.

So what required part of Webster's definition of a "sports car" does not apply to the MINI? I'm very courious in finding out your (or for that matter, anyone else who says it is not a sports car) reasoning why the MINI does fall into the generally accepted definition of "sports car".

Here's my take on the whole "Sportscar" issue: The insurance companies do not consider it a Sportscar so it must not be. I, however, drive my MCS as if it were!

I consider the MCS to be a "sports car" and that why I ordered one. I think that says a lot considering I've owned three corvettes, two mustangs, a camaro Z28, and an E46 M3. The others may be more extreme (especially the new M3 due to its very harsh ride) but I guess it is really a matter of personal taste. What may be a sports car to one person may be anothers sporty car.
