They bypassed the powerful (and idiotic) Hummer and went at the Mini. I bet they also steal lunch money from small kids and think that makes them hardened criminals.

Society has a way of getting collective revenge. Already it's thought cool by bald guye to shave their heads. Maybe soon clothes like theirs will be hot items at The Gap. In the meantime you might want to keep a squirtgun loaded with whatever the latest yuppie cologne is in case you run into them. Now you've got me going with revenge fantasies...

Yes that is a bad wish, but you know sometimes pain needs to be a teacher to those that cannot learn from just wanting not to have their stuff messed with.

On other notes, you really ought to be wary of starting little wars like that. I know well that I was more into that when I did not have a nice home, 2 nice cars, and alot to loose if I riled up some st00pid skinhead jerk. It is sad and unfortunate that the law will do so little to "serve and protect" in this aspect. Besides if you do do to them what I truly believe they deserve, then you will most likely go to jail or possibly set yourself up for am escallation from them, and well if they are infact skinheads, they are just animals, thus they will not stop. (another sidenote, my humor on the "elite white racists" that they are better than other races and try to convince people of this by acting like ANIMALS....but that is an issue that needs not be taken up here) Twinky, I really hope that the people can be found and that you can find some resolution that will not land you, or your friends in jail, and will fall short of causing an escallation by those animals.

Twinkie, if the vandelism occured in the Best Buy parking lot you should report to Best Buy, they need to know about stuff like that. Not that they would help pay for anything, although they may have insurannce for such a thing. Also, you should have a police report filed within I think, 48 hours of the inceident.

 

I think, though, it was a shopping Mall parking lot. If might be worth letting mall "security" know. It could at least key them in to watching for them causing others agony.

I'm imagining a scene out of "The Wild One". It's the first bike gang flick with a skinny Marlon Brando. A bunch of guys on hogs are circling a woman they've cornered. Of course in this case it is a pack of Minis.

As long as everyone's warning you. I'd watch out for parking too close to Hummers too: vicious and big appetites.

Brings up an interesting point...not that it'll work in every situation. "Never **** off anybody who doesn't have the common decency to respect your MINI." I know around my neighborhood especially, I'm real polite to other drivers. If I'm not, who knows what they'd do if they found my car (...its the only one around...kinda conspicuous). I yield to other drivers, and stop for children, people crossing the street, and small animals, too! The result: people in my neighborhood like my MINI!! I also completely downplay the whole racing thing...I've kept my MINI as "non-menacing looking" as I can. Still, ya never know when some punk with an attitude is going to make trouble. But it's likely my neighbors won't.

 

Man, that sucks. I am the type that would not hesitate putting my fist through their car windows if I saw them do that to my car. I am not a violent person by nature at all, but certain actions demand certain solutions.

Find out who owns the parking lot and see if they have video cameras. Some guy in a traget parking lot picked a fight with me (don't ask, but it started when he ran me off the road.... minivan drivers). I ended up kicking said butt (self defence) but we went into target after he fled (and said his friend oficer so and so would be visiting me) and watched the whole thing on video tape. It proved he was the instegator and I was in the clear, and the cops pressed charges from the tape.

Granted I don't like to fight, and I never start fight, but if you were 5'10" or less, pudgy and out of shape, and 40 something, would you start a fight with a 23 year old 6'4" 210 lb person??? Needless to say it felt pretty good cleaning his hood with his face.... and he kept coming back for more.... the best was when these guys in the parking lot come up to us (he was kneeling by my feet bitting (yes bitting) my leg) and yelled at me to let him go. It looked like I was pushing his face into the ground. When I said "I'm trying, but he's bitting me!" They were like WTF.... and then they started pushing him away with me...... It all started when he head butted me... then I gave hime 2 good shots to the nose/face.... he went flying onto his caravan hood, but then he came back at me?!? 2 more to the face and he goes the other way.... back at me again?!?! and I hit him HARD in the face and he drops at my feet... them bites me...... I told the cops this whole thing just like that and they said no worries sefl defence.... nice.... He did rip my shirt though... grabbed it when I punched him one of those times.... Best/worst part was, his kids were in his car, his wife was yelling at me, which promted him to get out and headbutt me, but my wife was there. She got VERY UPSET at them and the whole fight thing, but when we go home she said:"Where did you learn how to fight like that?" because I'm not a "macho" bar going type guy. I am big, and athletic, but I am a sailor/skier and am very nice and gentle, at least I try to be, and she had never seen that side of me before, nor has she since (close when I was rearended on the way to get her MINI, but it was just verbal)

Anyway not to change the topic, but don't start fight or you will get in trouble, but once they hit you it's fair game.... but you might want to know what you are doing.... nothing is better than having them start the fight (you do have to get hit once) but having that be the only damage you recieve, and then unleashing on them.....

the other point, maybe they have it on tape.... would be nice to prove it, otherwise messing with the wrong people, especially skinhead, will get you in worse shape then you already are. My sisters (we shared it) car was once keyed because it has a "girls kick @$$" sticker on it.....

People suck....

No one has keyed my cars (and they better not when I get the MCS), but when I got jumped by some drunk skater dorks (for lack of a more appropriate word) at my friends party we headed out with bats and a video camera. Rolled up on the kids house early in the morning, we jumped out and totally bashed the kids escalade on 23s, beat up those rims too. I dont mess around, so the same thing would be happinin to someone that keys my stuff!

At least you have a mini though... Think of it that way....

Also it there a dent in that picture too? It look like the side indicator, but wicked blurry.... Where is said scratch... if it's not on the drivers side, always part so you don't have to walk past it and see it. My WRX's back bumper has been hit twice this month and I am waiting on ins.$ to fix it so I feel your pain.... I always part so I walk past the front, that way I am not reminded of other people's lack of respect....

A few years ago when I got my Passat, someone keyed it. I know who did it so I got my revenge. I won't say how. I am super paraniod about the Mini. I know that if someone hits me, I will unleash the beast on them. If anyone decides to vandalize it, I can only hope that I catch them in the act. I don't understand what makes people act like that. The only way to deal with them are the ways described in these threads. They certainly don't deserve anything less!
I say we ****** up the punks and go beat up their parents!
