It started on Thursday last week when I was called by my M.A. that my car was at its final destination, The distribution center and should be at the dealership within a day or two. Mini Owners Lounge says "En Route." Finally yesterday the website read "distribution center" and estimated delivery was 8/14. My M.A. told me last night that it wasnt there yet and it might be there in the morning. So I made my wife drive my truck to work and I rode in with a co-worker thinking I could surprise her since she will be a little upset I wont make it to the doctors office with her today (she's pregnant) but that I would make up for it when she comes home and see's a MCS in the garage. (Hero)

But....... I was told this morning that the car actually has not left port and he is trying everything he can to pull strings and get the car on the truck so we can have it delivered. I know he is doing his best, I am just bummed out since this is supposed to be a surprise and nothing is going as planned. Sorry had to vent!!!!!

Is your car in New York or South Carolina? Mine has been sitting in port at New York since the 12th and we are seeing no signs of it arriving until sometime next week.

Sorry it's not working out as planned. But just like your real baby, your "baby" will get here when it gets here. And then all will be happiness and joy.

Good luck for a quick and easy delivery on both counts.

Vent away, man! Waiting isn't easy, especially when you're so close! All of us (...well, many of us) have been there. Save your sanity by not thinking about it so much. (...I know....I couldn't do it either! )
