My MINI just got onto the boat :smile:

Our MINIs are on the same ship! It's scheduled to dock in Charleston, SC tomorow (Sunday). My MA says once a ship unloads MINIs usually show up at the San Antonio dealer within ten days to two weeks at the most. Should be about the same for Houston I imagine. I'm getting awfully impatient. I have such a pile of things I've ordered, ready to go on the car once it gets home ! I guess we both just have to hang in there !

No special treatment. I just got lucky that it was off and on a load direct to my dealer the same day.

My Brigit is home!!! Picked her up this afternoon...She left on the Madame Buttery on the 12th and arrived here in Ohio on the 28th. From Production to pick-up... 21 days!

Ours came over on the Madame Butterfly. I expect delivery this week at Dryer & Reinbold MINI (Indianapolis). Some folks have already taken delivery in Chicago and Ohio. :smile:

I should take delivery on Wednesday. First it was Saturday....now it is Wednesday...my MA should really stop playing with my emotions

Well the time has come and my MINI arrived at the dealer today..

I will be picking her up on Saturday. Man I am so excited.

Picking up our 2004 MCS on Tuesday 12/9/03. Personal conflicts make it impossible to make the trip to Indianapolis earlier than that. Not too bad though, 71 days from order (9/29/03) to pick up.

We are pumped!

 

when did your mini get to the distribution center ? mine came over on the Jinga Maru and unloaded on November 13 , and that was the last anyone saw it, also takeing delivery in Indy,, soon i hope !!!

MY MINI IS HERE!
It came into Charleston on Tuesday and got to my dealer in Houston on Saturday!!!!!

Can't pick it up till tuesday though so a couple more days of torture.

 

Man. I'll be in the June club if I'm lucky. Take a spin for me and enjoy the warm buns.

You're doing better than me. Mine came into NJ last Thursday, and it was supposed to be at the dealer on Friday, but now it's looking like early next week. The closer it gets the more anxious I get for it!

Ours came over on the Madame Butterfly. Arrived in New York (New Jersey) on Friday 11/21/03. Seems odd that yours has not been delivered yet.

i think if your car is in the distribution center more than 7 days , there is a problem with it, and once that happens then there is no telling when you will get it, with a new ship unloading every 3 or 4 days, it is unlikely that you are just waiting in line after a few days have passed, now comes the problem of what to do if it has been damaged, do you want a new car that has been repaired before you even get it

 

i stil can't believe i'll finally have my 04 cooper S in just another week or so. sooooooo exciting!

 

Found out today from my dealer in San Antonio that my car arrived there yesterday evening.
They've got to install the JCW kit and beige MF steering wheel still, so it will probably be
Friday or so before I can pick it up. At Long Last - at least it's VERY close now ! Hooray !

 

Well, my PW/B MC arrived in Cincinnati on Friday. Dealer will be installing all the goodies asap, but the bad news is I can't get away from work long enough to pick up the car until Friday the 19th. From the day I ordered to pick up will be 2 months and one day. Not bad, but this week is going to feel very long. I'll try to post pics as soon as I get them
