Turn off runflat light?

Hmmm, changed to non runflats and happy I did so, Just wondering if the runflat light comes on when wheels are taken off or that it is on because of my tyres. As I know it, it activates when one axle has 2 different circumferance (sp?) tyres on it, thus one being flat, As mine are new and not flat I would not think this would be the case. Is there an easy solution?

cheers. Peter

Check the pressures and make sure they are okay...if they are, then just reset the light...you hold the button next to the e-brake down for a certain amount of time (I did mine the other night; I can never remember the time but I think I did 10 seconds), turn the key off, then turn it back on and the light should go off.

Button found!

Genius man! thanks.

I remember being 15-25, would find every gizmo on every thing I bought as soon as I got it out of the box, At 40 I just can't be bothered, Sad really.

thanks again. Peter

Quick question. I bought a used ruunflat from another Mini owner (because they were cheap, and I wanted to keep runflats on) will the slightly different treads turn the runflat monitor on all the time?

Thanks!

As long as they are the same basic size ie. 185/45, then you should have no problem.
