Ok Ok Ok, I Got It Now

The bung on the collector is the coolant connection point for the new and improved water lubricated muffler bearing. You may have seen the stock one on your car go bad as water comes out the tail pipe when you start the car. This leads to a loss in power.
Jan has been keeping this a secret for quite a while now as it is the secret to the power on the RMW cars. He is now ready to release it to the general public and I expect it to be the next big thing for everyone to bolt to their Mini's. I'm sure Jan will soon post the dyno plots showing a 20whp minimum gain from this part. GO RMW!!!!

OK, I have to come clean, I have been in on this all along and I can't hide it any more. I have first hand knowledge of Jan, with a long lens camera, snooping around the so-cal engineering headquarters of vendor . He has stolen this design and started this thread to pass this off as his own before said vendor can bring it to market. This is the super, skunkworks, top secret, 007, four port flower holder, al la the VW bug. Yes, this first non performance part form RMW is actually stolen from a competitor.

P.S. Sorry Jan, I couldn't hold it back any longer.

Lessee... The first pic is a new kind of urinal (pissed-in), the second looks like tax collectors, i.e. something I'd spend my refund check on once completed.

Nice I'm ready to go to the next level of power. I have a 05 5-speed and I feel that it can handle the power. I'm going to do some reserch but the colbalt SS uses a 5 speed getrag that feels close to the coopers box, and they have 175 hp. I need to see if there the same tranny.

that was really not fair. That object was way too shiny. People do get distracted by shiny objects.

Fun thread!
