R50/53 What's in a name?
We call ours "the MINI" to distinguish it from "the Truck" . This enables us to determine which set of keys to take when leaving the house. A sample conversation goes like this....
ME: "I'm taking the MINI."
WIFE: "I guess I'm stuck with your truck, Again."
ME: "I'm taking the MINI."
WIFE: "I guess I'm stuck with your truck, Again."
She competes for my affections with my wife and children.
Incredibly, she sometimes wins!
She is always gracious under pressure, and acceleration.
She is from the borderlands (North/South divide) of Cincinnati.
She looks resplendent in IB / W.
She is BluBelle.

We struggled for a name for a while...It took some time to get to know our mini!
I'm glad to say he does have a name though! Captain Jack...He's a pirate car! A little bit of a contradiction seeing it is originally a British car and the British were always after priates....but the car is kind of a contradiction to itself in many ways so it fits. He has a nice skull and cross bones sticker on one of the windows and a skull on the antenna....Everyone wants him to get a big skull and cross bones on the roof...I don't know about that but we'll see.
The new family motto is AAAARRRRGGGG!
