R50/53 CAM

CAM

I have a MCS head and i have reason to believe it has a Shrick cam, but i am not 100% sure.

Is their any way i can find out if it does?

open up the valve cover and check the spark plug tubes. They need some dings or grind marks for clearance.

Right, not always. If not you would get out a handy micrometer, I think the schrick has 1mm more lift than the stock. 9.5 vs. 8.5.

I would have to remove the cam inorder to do that.
Their arent any serial #s or anything. I saw one number on it but wasnt sure waht it was for.
