>>I know what you mean by having a hard time NOT speeding.. especially difficult moving from the UK back to Gridlock, USA...

So true, so true. Moving back from Belgium was hardest not because I no longer had over 1,200 beers to choose from (and that was very hard indeed) but hardest dealing with wide open motorways in the USA with a ridiculous 65 MPH speed limit. AARRRGGHHH!!!!

>>I would go with the vehicle that is most practical for your needs, that still keeps >>the biggest grin on your face. Still can't decided? Look at the $ side of it.

The only problem with that is that right now they both point towards MINI cooper S.... It's the wife (that won't share the MINI) that wants me to keep the WRX.....

HHHMMMMMMM after a few more weeks, if no sharing is happening, then the altimadem will be laid down..

"Share the MINI now, or I go order My MCS Now!!!"

Cheaper Car (at least at MSRP maybe not trade in wise, but I won't owe much....)
Cheaper Gas
Cheaper Insurance
More Fun Factor.

Here we go again...

Hey Red03miniS, do you have a link???

Thanks again...

Ben

If you need more room and you have a MINI - Go for an Aztek. Don’t have to worry about speeding tickets; you’re to top heavy to want to speed. And think of all the room you’ll have – and great accessories like the Tent/Camping package and those neat plastic Woody Panels you can get and plastic wheel covers and… and… Sorry I lost it there for a minute.

I’d do the WRX.

red03miniS,
found it here:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...3&start=75

Kinda funny that all the WRXs were silver, and so is mine... I think that's part of the reason I like the MCS so much... The personality of the think. I expected the comments on speed though as I have driven both, and the WRX is deceptively fast... And with a little work can carner with the MINI. I figure after I get 17"s on my WRX it will hang with a MINI in a corner, and speed wise there is no contest, even with an S... but then again, that's kinda why I want the MCS is because I have no place to get track time, so the speed justs gets me into trouble as mentioned earlier...

Thanks for the link though...

Here is my car for anyone who wants to look at a booring (looks wise) WRX:

Exactly!! Keep the WRX for those times when you need a bigger car, buy yourself a Cooper and both you and the wife have fun. You may have to sell the house and eat beans for four years, but what is life without sacrifice?

i love going to santa monica blvd, and judging people by what they drive, and seeing 911 like they are a dime a dozen

my sons is going to school in LA and parks cars part time for an agency, mostly upscale charity events....so he gets to park everything which he loves.....I asked him if he parks any MINI's at the events and he laughed only the 16 year kids that just got one that comes to the events....the parents are in the Escalades, H2's, 7 series. etc...too funny to hear the stories and the weirdo's who won't let anyone park their Ferrari or Lambos....geez, it's still just a car, but it is LA....lol !
