I like the looks of the anthracite interior, but I would like to know if you can get it with the contrasting black door panals? Anybody know?

 

I don't think so, I ordered my S back in June and when the press release came out about the new interior I immediately called my dealer up and ordered it. He didn;t think it came any other way besides gray on gray, but he hadn't even been sent pics by MINI yet. All the pics posted by Europeans that I've seen are all gray on gray. Still looks sharp, though, better than the cheapo plastic or brushed aluminum.

To me, the coolest feature of the door is the silver door beam against the gray. That REALLY makes the doors stand out. Although I like the Anthracite on the dash, the door loses its looks with the grey on grey thing, IMO.

 

Has anyone actually seen the anthracite interior in person? I have only seen a couple of pictures and have not been able to get a real good feel for its look. I ordered the silver interior since I thought the patina looked too cheap. Of course, the silver also looks cheap, too, just not as bad as the patina. I wouldn't mind switching to the anthracite if it doesn't also look cheap.

I agree, I really like the contrasting colors in the doors. I went with the bright silver for my MCS.
