Joel -- If you call 1-866-ASK-MINI with a production number, they can tell you what the status number of your MINI is. Then reference the chart posted earlier in this thread for a list of what all the numerical codes mean.

BTW -- I spoke with my dealer representative today and she said the delay in the Cooper S is in the Sports Package; specifically, the Xenon headlights (or is it Zenon?), as was discussed before. She also indicated the trip from the NYC dock to the dealership (in Buffalo, that is) takes two weeks, with a stop at the Jersey distribution center.

So for those holding out for the Sports Package, the estimated wait is still 10-12 weeks.

I feel your pain...I hope she means 10-12 weeks from the order date, not from today.

 

I ordered my S July 1st and it went into production yesterday! It is estimated to be completed August 9th so I'll hopefully recieve it mid October. AH YEAH!!!

 

Where r u located Tmini$? I have a Sept prod date and my MCS is due in October...

 

SF Bay area.

Mister_S, that's a good suggestion (both). Of course, searching prior threads -- which I believe is how this thread got revived -- works too.

I recall this thread being highly active just at the time I joined MCO and was still lurking. It's really fun to see some of the early posts from current members...like, now we know how L.Mini reached the gazillion post count

It's also interesting to be reminded of MCO members who seem to have fallen off the face of the earth (from their early heavy posting). What happened to: Tollag, Blimey, and HighAnxiety??? Maybe that's a new off-topic thread...
