Anyone have to take out some plastic when putting new stereo in?
I took out my old stereo and put an Alpine 9883. It seemed to meet with some resistance in the last centimeter or so when sliding it in. when I look inside I see some plastic which is probably designed to hold the back of the stock stereo's plastic nut that screws on the back of the stock stereo. I can probably just force the stereo on, but that bit of plastic doesn't seem to be necessary. The new Alpine sounds way better than the stock radio incase anyone was thinking of changing their stock one out.
