Pepper will be one year old on Aug 30, coming up on 8,000 miles and I'm still smitten by this car, I bust my butt to keep it looking absolutely "brand new" because it still feels that way to me !

Took delivery 1st week of Aug. '02.
Red MCS, checker top (painted.) Almost all options. 8999 miles.
I've had my share of problems, but they fade away fast once you get back in the car. Bottom line, there is no other car under 50,000 I would rather own.
The most amazing part is that my enthusiasm seems to keep growing stronger. After 16 months or so, I am still on these boards every day soaking up everything I can. I may need help.
Time to roll 9k!

Wow, DrkSlverS. I thought I had some miles on The Cooper, but you got it beat.
In fact, I got mine 6/11/02, had 250 miles on it. Now reads 27,500.
Still motoring happy.
