I returned once a GM car before and had no need to hire a lawyer. I was swapped to a new car replacement and all I had to pay was for the mileage which was a fair procedure.

Maybe you took my post as me having a passive posture in terms of product defects or liability. Actually I am the type of person that returns to the store anything (Including food stuff) that is not to my satisfaction. Among my family and friends I am known as the "Warranty and return king".

I am just fed up with people seeking to lawyers to solve all their life's problems. While due to our litigious culture we can't do without attorneys most other times we can do just fine without them.

Often people don't ride one pony at a time and that is why their Lemon law claims turn more sour than they need to be.

If MINI & BMW does the right thing, then there is no need for a lawyer, if they don't do the right thing, then the consumer needs an advocate because trust me BMW has thousands of these legal advocates on their side
