Test drove my first MINI this weekend...and I don't want anything else! It handled a 90degree turn at 40mph with no body roll and little tire squeel. I'm currently in a Chevy S-10 (P.O.S.) and you can't even think of doing that in a truck without the back end coming out from behind ya. The downside to the test drive, I have to wait 8 months for the MCS to come in

i waited until my lease was almost out to test drive them both -- i knew i'd be quite upset if i could not leave the dealership or have one within 3 months.

now i'm waiting for her to be shipped across the pond!

I believe most of us posting here feel the same way. I fell for the MCS when I first saw it, and put my name down on the waiting list back in March. I felt that once I took a test drive, I would probably get over it. I really liked the Porsche Boxster when it first came out, but after sitting and driving in it, I didn't care for it anymore. The opposite happened with the MINI, I was even more obsessed after the test drive. As luck and $'s would have it, I have a MCS with 1100 miles on it now. So close to ending the break-in period! And I can honestly say, this car is great!Welcome to the club, try not to get too obsessed, as tough as that is to do.
