I am the happy owner of a 03 MCS. It's blue with a white top and mirrors. I am the type of person who CANNOT drive anything stock. I want to add a few things like intake, tinted windows and other little things.. But I really want to get a look for the mini and go with it. I was thinking about either painting the roof and mirrors black.. Or I got an idea from another member and wanted to paint the entire mini in satin black (primer color) and add pin stripes to give it a hot rod old school look. Anyone care to share style ideas with me? Pics would be best.. Anyone with a Blie and white combo that added some custom touches? Also I am thinking about painting my side moldings blue to match the car. But two body shops said the prep work is too much to deal with and the paint would flake off. Anyone do this? I saw a few pics but no real info on how they painted them.

Anyone else have pics I could see or ideas I could hear?

I have a Blue mini with the white top and white mirrors..

So far I am thinking about doing the belt line black, painting the grill black (or just get a different one)..

I would really like to have the side moldings painted blue to match the car. One body shop said it's way too hard to do that. But I have seen a few on here that did it.

 

Flat red with a flat black roof (or Flat blue with a flat black roof).

 

I dont think am going to re paint the Mini.. Just wanted some ideas on style using the paint I have. I would paint the mirrors and grills.
