R50/53 brake question
brake question
Any thing different about doing the front brakes on an 05 mc? I have all the parts from the dealer and have done brakes before, just wondering if there is anything special I should know
Search it
Try a search and find OCTANEGUY's great "how to" for brake jobs.
If you've done disks b4 there are few curveballs....do note the bolts to pull the caliber on a gen one are allen....do you have allen sockets?
Fronts take me about 15 min a wheel .... backs a few minutes longer. Note the advice about the need to turn the rear pistons while retracting. The HF tool is handy.
Also, did your sensor lite up? If so you need to replace the senor wire - at least one of them...they are left front and right rear. If it went off, most likely it was the front.
