Hello, i'm looking at 05+ Cooper S

Hello, I am looking at 05+ Cooper S with automatic transmission to avoid the transmission issues.

But does Aisin unit also has it's issues? thank you!

There may have transmission issues with teh midland trans used in the early Coopers (non-S) but I haven't heard of any epidemic MCS trans issues... got me scratchin' my head.

oh... It's just that I saw the thread in the technical forum where members were forced to replace their transmissions (cvt, manual) due to broken synchros and so on... so I was just trying to avoid those

I guess it's not as serious as I am thinking
