R50/53 Plug/trim for brake console?

Plug/trim for brake console?
I just got a used 2004 Cooper S. There are two trim plugs/caps on either side of the parking brake lever on the rear console. One of the two plugs/caps is missing. Two questions:
where would I find a replacement? I've got the Bentley Service and it does not refer to these plugs and I want to know what to ask for
do the plugs cover up buttons that are options in other Coopers?
